We thought it was the perfect time for a follow-up after two major and fantastic exhibitions. It’s been a busy few weeks for Storm and we’re still on a high from all the energy, excitement and great conversations!

A Brief Recap

Let’s start back in September at SBC Lisbon, our very first time exhibiting rather than just attending and it was absolutely worth it! Fast forward to this week in the city of bright lights, Las Vegas where we joined forces with our partner Primero Games on their stand at G2E. As one of the largest gaming exhibitions in the world, G2E is an event that needs no elaborate introduction. It’s a massive celebration of all thing's slots, gaming and casinos.

Major Themes: AI in Gaming

One of the biggest topics across both shows was AI in gaming. Love it or fear it, AI is definitely present and it’s changing how games are developed, played, and experienced. It was clear that the buzz around AI isn’t slowing down anytime soon.  Is AI pushing gaming forward or taking it in the complete wrong direction? Either way, it’s certainly one of the most talked about trends of the year in this industry that cannot be ignored.

Big Announcements

Both exhibitions gave us the perfect stage to showcase our latest products and content including Stretchables, Chilli Hot Pots, Leaves of Gold and Book of Oaths.

We also shared a sneak peek into what’s coming next with our Head of Content, Julian Beck joining both shows to talk through our new releases and upcoming content roadmap. The excitement around our games and projects was real and we are proud to say that it’s only just getting started!

Inspiring Keynotes & Eye-Catching Stands

A real highlight from both events has to be the stands themselves. From giant LED displays to creative lighting setups, we’re constantly impressed by the creative thinking and effort that goes into every booth and we hope our giant screen added a little extra “wow” to the mix. It’s always great seeing our games, characters and our mechanics come to life on the big screen for everyone to enjoy and appreciate!

Behind the Booth: Our SBC Lisbon Experience

To be totally transparent, preparing for SBC Lisbon was a bit more of a challenge than we initially expected, being our first time exhibiting in Lisbon meant working with a new team in a new location. For Primero,  G2E is familiar territory. Their owner, Mike Macke has been attending the show for years and is something of a veteran when it comes to these exhibitions. Between the two shows, both stands featured our much-loved giant LED screens, which were perfect for showing off our visuals in true style.

A Warm Welcome to Brooke Richardson

SBC Lisbon also marked the first exhibition for our new Business Development Manager, Brooke Richardson. It was a key opportunity to introduce Storm to new audiences and Brooke absolutely hit the ground running, a huge congratulations to her for a fantastic first show!  She'll next be attending Rome for SiGMA in November. What’s Next for Storm?

Now that we’ve wrapped up SBC and G2E, we’re turning our focus to the big one in Barcelona, the infamous ICE! With its move to Barcelona, there’s a lot of extra admin including planning and shipping ahead, but we’re already excited. Expect our biggest and most innovative stand yet, packed with exciting new content and interactive technology.

Thank you to everyone who made SBC Lisbon and G2E Vegas so memorable, see you at the next one!
